In the third quarter of 2024, the top music and podcasts applications on the Android platform in Oceania showcased diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. According to Sensor Tower, these insights provide a detailed look at the app market dynamics in the region.

Spotify: Music and Podcasts saw a fluctuating revenue trend, peaking at around $219K in mid-August. Weekly downloads started at 8.2K in early July, gradually increasing to over 11K by mid-August before declining to 8.6K by the end of September. The app maintained a robust active user base, growing from approximately 3.59M to 3.67M throughout the quarter.

LiSTNR recorded notable growth in weekly downloads, particularly in late August, reaching 9.3K. Active users also increased, rising from 10.7K in early July to a peak of 14.9K at the end of August, before settling at around 10.9K by the end of the quarter.

Shazam: Find Music & Concerts experienced a steady download pattern, with figures ranging from 4.4K to 5.4K. Active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 129K, with a slight increase to 131K by the end of September.
